My bestfriend has Chinese Shar-Pei and boy, is she gorgeous! Our dogs are also the best of buddies and we go for long walks. The Chinese Shar-Pei is indeed very interesting. I've read that these dogs are temple guardians in ancient China. They were tauted to ward off spirits. It was a good thing that my bestfriend encouraged the dog to socialize early by having dog walks with my pooch.
